Welcome to Class 5The Mighty Oaks!

Our Class Teacher is Mr. Reeson.

Our Teaching Assistants are Mrs Kirk and Mr Hall.

We are a class of 21 year 6 students.

Over the year we will be learning three topics. This term we are learning all about 'The Maya Civilization'. The children will have the opportunity to learn all about the Mayans and how they lived. We shall also be making some homemade tortillas. This year as part of the new curriculum design children will receive knowledge organisers for Topic and Science. Children are required to learn all of the knowledge organisers. Children will take mini quizzes to help them learn the facts.

Daily tasks

Hi there Mighty Oaks! Please keep checking this page for daily tasks. All tasks will also be posted on Class Dojo within the class story or portfolio section.

Thanks Mr R

Thursday 2nd April

Good Morning Mighty Oaks, today we are going to do some Maths and English work.

5 in 5

546 divided by 4=

The degrees in a right angle + c (in roman numerals) =

Evan had £25 he spent half on a dogeball and £2 on Texas flag. How much does he have left?

Can you draw a 3D shape and label the vertices, edges and faces?

Today could you draw and design your very own super hero. Think about what their special powers will be. Try to use powerful adjectives and adverbs.

When you have done this create a comic strip. In the comic strip they will have to defeat the evil villain Mr Reeson. He is an evil teacher who sets his children far too much work!!!!! Think about how you can defeat him.

Also practise 5 of your spellings.

Wednesday 1st April
