Breakfast Club Assistant

Start: November 2026.

7.5 hours per week. 

We are seeking a fun and enthusistic Breakfast Club Assistant to join our friendly and inclusive team at Toynton All Saints Primary School.

This is an exciting opportunity to help provide a positive start to the school day by supporting children in a safe, nurturing and engaging breakfast club environment.

The successful candidate will work as part of our wraparound care provision, helping to supervise pupils, encourage positive relationships and ensure children are settled and ready for learning.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with children aged 4 to 11.
  • Is warm, patient and approachable.
  • Can build positive relationships with children and families.
  • Has good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Can support positive behaviour and high expectations.
  • Is reliable, flexible and well-organised.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervising children attending Breakfast Club.
  • Preparing and serving breakfast in line with food hygiene requirements.
  • Setting up and clearing away equipment and resources.
  • Supporting children in social and play activities.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour in line with our school behaviour policy.
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils.

Working Hours

7.5 hours per week, from 7:20am - 8:50am Monday to Friday.

Salary

Grade G2 SCP 3: Actual salary approx. £4,950 per annum
