Required for September 2019
A flourishing, rural primary school in the Lincolnshire Wolds, with 160 children, we are looking to appoint a new Year 4-5 Class Teacher to expand our team, in response to our growing numbers, as we work towards becoming a single form entry school. This is to ensure continued personalised learning opportunities for our children.
Toynton All Saints is a values-based school, with the focus of our 6Rs being to create life-long, confident learners, who are able to embrace challenge and to collaborate effectively with others.
Our unique one acre conservation area, “Wild At Heart”, is the basis for our having become a Forest School. This outdoor learning space gives our children the chance to develop team-building and leadership skills, learning together to be resourceful and resilient.
Whilst having the individuality of being an independent maintained primary school, we are strategic partners in the Kyra Teaching School Strategic Alliance. Through this alliance we are able to build our teaching expertise and specialisms, with extensive CPD opportunities; we offer Initial Teacher Training and mentoring; and we offer School to School Support through deployment of our Senior Leaders of Education and Local Leader of Education. Our Governing Body is an asset to school, being a proactive team, providing effective and supportive challenge to school, working together to ensure its ongoing and sustained improvement.
We are a creative and dynamic teaching team, looking to welcome new members to join our growing school community. Visits to the school are warmly encouraged.
Closing date is Tuesday 23rd April, with the interview date being Wednesday 2nd May. For an application pack, or to arrange a visit to school, please contact Debbie Johnson by email: email@example.com
